The Cleveland Indians hosted the Los Angeles Angels Tuesday night, edging out the Halos 7-6. C.C. Sabathia went seven strong innings, giving up three runs – only one earned – walking two and getting the win. In a losing effort, Howie Kendrick went 4-for-4 and scored three runs. It was an ordinary game, except for one thing.
It was a home game for Cleveland…in Milwaukee?
Due to the harsh weather back in Cleveland, the Indians played their first game that counted since Thursday in Milwaukee’s Miller Park, which is a good 450 miles away from their regular home at Jacobs Field. With the Brewers on the road taking on the Florida Marlins, the Indians were finally able to get their season back on track with the help of the park’s retractable roof.
The Angels and Indians will finish off their 3 game series on Wednesday and Thursday at Miller Park.
