4 – The number of players who scored for the Houston Rockets in their 81-67 loss to Utah on Thursday to give the Jazz their first win after three games. It was the first time in the regular season or postseason that fewer than five players scored for a team since the shot clock was implemented. No reserve players scored for the Rockets, who went 0 for 10 from the field, and Chuck Hayes was the only starter not to score, going 0 for 2. Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady combined for 50 of the 67 points, scoring 26 and 24, respectively. Shane Battier had 11 points and Rafer Alston added 6 to a team that managed only 25 second-half points.
As for the winning team, the Jazz had all nine players who stepped onto the floor score, led by Carlos Boozer’s 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Deron Williams‘ 11 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.
